What would you do with a Death Note?!
Question: If you happened to be the lucky human that stumbled upon a shinigami's misplaced death note, a notebook in which, in case you dont know, you can kill a person by simply writing their name (you could also provide details such as time, place, date, how it happened and even their last actions.), what would you do with it?.......would you use it? or disregard/destroy it? if you were to use it, for whom and why?

I'm not qualified to judge other people and then take their lives if found wanting. That kind of power should be left in the hands of the death gods who are better suited. I believe the point of the series was that, yes with that kind of power you could make a difference. But in the end should you? After all, Light ended up becoming exactly what he was trying to destroy, a manical, mass murdering criminal.
I would incinerate it. No regrets.
Destroy it because I might start wating to go by a japanese name and possibly start watching anime, or i could go crazy with power, ide take out Bill Gates first and foremost.

If i got it i would not let it go to waste, i would use it. I would use it for my self, i would be kira. The reason is because those criminals deserve to die. Eventually they will so why not sooner. Plus some criminals get off clean thats not right. Those criminals must die. I think it would be pretty cool to be kira.
I could use it to eliminate criminals, vigilante-style. LOL.
Umm I would keep it and give it back to the shinigami. I wouldn't use it because..well, I have a conscience and I'm sane =]
i think i would probally do the same thing Light did....he started off with noble intentions of becoming the God of the New World, but ended up just killing people in the way.
i would probally destroy it after i got too freaked out and realized what atrocities I had committed against the innocent bystanders of the world....wait...I would keep it till i died.
Do what Light couldn't.
I would use it to write my own ending. I would place my death at hundreds of thousands of years in the future and let myself go peacefully in my sleep. Think of it as a type of immortality.
id throw it away, because once i saw that shinigami, id be scared for my life. why? hes just soo ugly! but yeah, id throw it away mostly becuase of him, and because killing people is wrong

...Jesus,our Lord, forbids us to kill other people! I think Raito is sooooooo dumb to think he can be a god by killing! He's just human(reality check!).
...I know what some are thinking... could we just allow other criminals to kill innocent people???...well, there are so many ways to prevent a criminal from killing!...and that's the part where we use our brains to find another solution aside from
killing...
