Minato namikaze( fourth hokage) vs. sarotubi( third hokage)?!
Question: who would win and why?
Answers: who would win and why?
oohhh... this is a bit tough.
Points to concider:
1. Sarotobi is Jiriyya's sensei who is Minato's sensei.
2. 3rd used 4th forbidden techniques when fighting with Orichimaru (the technique that sealed Kiyobi in naruto)
3. But he's not as better as Minato in thet tequenique, but it can be because he was sooo old.
4. and if i'm correct, old man 3rd can use most of the ninja techniques (even unique to the hokages).
5. Minato is the Konoha's legandary Yellow flash
6. he's fully mastered the Rasengan and in the process of completing it to the ultimate tequnique which will be his master piece. (which naruto has already done)
7. Minato is young and energetic. won't give in to imotions like Sarotubi (3rd let Orichimaru slip through his fingers because he's too immotional)
8. Minato's summons are Toads like Jirriya's where as 3rds is an Ape king (Enma if i'm correct). Given the fight between Orachimaru, Enma's abilities didn't show up that much. But Toads are well... has more techniques.
OH and
9. during the Orich / 3rd battle 3rd stopped bringing the 4th back to fight him saying he won't be able to handle the 4th (i think :D)
so given all these I say it'll be a spectacular showdown where Minato wins in the end.
yes age is. That's why Orichimaru managed to defeat the 3rd. And my 7th point (well I guess u can devide it into 2 :D)

Minato.
His overall jutsus are so-so. Rasengan is powerful, yes, but is that all he has? Kuchiyose no Jutsu.... Sarutobi could use it too. Kage Bunshin.... both can use them. If their overall jutsus are compared, Sarutobi would win since he knows way too many jutsus 8D
But in term of speed, Minato wins. His Hiraishin conquers everyone with the speed of light, even Sarutobi couldn't see it. With amazing speed, no one could actually escape him.
So Minato would win. In an instant.
From what has been said in the series, Sarutobi in his prime was the strongest ninja the Leaf Village has ever had. By the time Minato took over, though, he apparently was starting to fade with age, and likely was not as strong as Minato.(Otherwise, why would he have stepped down? Leaving the protection of the villiage in the hands of someone weaker than yourself would put the villiage in additional and unnecessary dainger, which makes no sense for a Hokage to do.)
