There are 2 volumes [6 chapters] total of the manga of Kanon.
Kanon and Kanon 2006 isn't based on the manga. Kanon and Kanon 2006 was based on the game developed Key. I think you're thinking of Kanon 2006, the one produced by Kyoto Animation. The older 2002 Kanon was produced by Toei.
