There isn't any news of a sequel to Mahou Sensei Negima! right now but there is a remake of it called Negima!?. There are two Mahou Sensei Negima! OVAs. I think there's also already a live action version out or there's going to be.

actually there alrady is its called '' maho sensei negima !?'' it has the question mark in there to, so it is actually the second ''volume'' i believ the story line is they are trying to find el chupucabre. ( dont no or care if that is spelled right'' but i think there are some episodes on youtube
They are also running the jdrama Negima in Japan right now. Hasn't been subbed yet as far as I know. 6 episodes have been released.
