Avatar the last air bender blood bending?!

Question: if you think about it blood bending isnt all that bad as long as you use it for good not evil........ i mean think hard about it, on the day of the eclisp the full moon covers the sun right, well if that happens then maby katara can use blood bending to take down firelord ozi and maby azula on the way!

Well, you have to remember that Katara somehow managed to break out of the Blood Bending control that Hama had on her. Can it only be done by another Water Bender who has the skill enough to bend Blood in the first place, or is it just something that can be broken if you realize what is happening? (Aang and Sokka weren't prepared.)

That Would Be Awesome! I Really Want To Be A Water/Blood Bender! Or An Electricity Bender!

i'm hoping katara bloodbends azula right into a volcano or something. azula annoys me.

I thought this as well. If you could blood bend (water bend) the fire lord into being powerless than the good guys win! Of course this was a just a "filler" (non-plot advancement) episode that has little to do with anything other than how the writers of such shows always write themselves into corners that make themselves / their protagonists look stupid...but good point for debates sake.

PS my fav "writers bock" dillemma is "why didn't Gandolf have the Eagles just take the hobbit and the ring via air ride to the mountain and drop it in from above the volcano in the first place, but neither here nor there....

I think you have to take in account that Katara's a "goody-goody" personality, and the whole idea of "blood-bending" violates people and sounds...pretty evil ><

She really wants to set a good, positive example for Sokka, Aang and Toph as their surrogate mother.

I think if she uses "blood-bending" against the Fire Nation, Ozai, Azula etc. she'll feel like she hasn't won through doing "good" but rather doing something "evil."

but still the controling of another persons body and actions, in no way is that right.
