Are special glasses needed for 3D cartoon sites on the net?!
Question: I can not find out if they are needed or not. The pictures just look like cartoons, not 3D.

There are a few definitions for 3D animation. It can either be animation with the illusion of depth through shading techniques, or using actual eye manipulation through those glasses to make imagery "pop out" at you.
If the image looks distorted, then you'll probably need special glasses to get the effect. If you can view it without any glasses, however, then they're probably not the kind of 3D cartoons you'll see at an IMAX theatre or anything.

Almost all 3D requires special glasses. Comics usually use two different color lenses. Movies use polarized lenses.
