Yes I have to agree with Ichigo Love him! He's my favorite character... And I don't think it's weird because well Hey I do it to.... Well sometimes... It's perfectly normal for girls to think so because guys do it too! I totally love Ichigo he's fun! Some are hotter than others though ha ha!
Although I only am what you might call an 'amateur' at the whole anime thing, they are pretty cool. Their hard to draw though because of their facial alignment, and all of the sketch kinda stuff.

Anime characters fit our ideal identity of a man : disposable for any kind of fantasm, dream, fiction story...
And they mostly are loveable because they have one defined identity, I love kakashi because I know his identity, from what I can read in the manga, so it's easy to imagine love scenes, or what his reaction could be in this or that situation...
So of course it's easy to love anime characters, because they are true to themselves, they are trustable, they have a clear identity, motives...
It's not easy to love a real person because his mood can change, his reactions are not so predictable (but still it brings more love to love someone real ^^)
Anyway, I think that the best way is to manage between a real lover and an amine lover, that way you're never disappointed ! (lol)
Eh... I don't like Inuyasha or its characters at all. But I will agree with you on Kakashi. I'd also have to add Mugen from Samurai Champloo and Ed Elric from FMA because he's just too cute!
And I actually really like Naruto. He's cute too.
