I think Adam IS Kensie... He mentioned on the last episode that he has been in that cell for decades but he still looks so young...
I think his regeneration powers helps to stop the aging process... People age because skin cells die and the new cells are not regenerated fast enough. With Adam's powers, he regenerates so fast that he doesn't age.
Also, I think it is more than coincidence that his name is "Adam". Could he be the "father" of all the heroes. If he's been alive since the fuedal Japaneese era, maybe he must have fathered hundreds of children by now and with the multiplier effect of grandchildren... You get dozens of "special" people with different aspects of powers. If an English guy can make his way to Japan in the 1700's, he could have also made his way to India, South America, etc and fathered all sorts of multicultural kids.

It is the same person. What I don't understand is why he is immortal. His power helps him heal, it doesn't stop the aging process. I am hoping they will explain further.

He can heal himself, thats why he is like over 400 years old, I think Peter kinda mentioned that when went through the wall and saw him. I guess that means Claire will live forever also along with Peter if he keeps her power!
