Mammy is the best character in the show.

Scarlett, of course. Ooohhh...and Mammy......I can't STAND Melanie, even though she is supposed to be likable, and I'm sorry, but although I absolutely STRIVE to be like Scarlett, she has really bad taste in men...Ashley was very unattractive!
I love Scarlett... Vivien Leigh is my favorite actress... incredibly beautiful... but I think my favorite character was "Mammy" played by Hattie McDaniel.... "It ain't fittin'... it just ain't fittin'...... it ain't fittin'!"... "... and you there waitin' for him just like a spider!"
Clark Gable did a great job as Rhett too, but I still like "Mammy" the best.
