I know for sure that is is an EMO, he wears the eye liner, so yeah he migh be gay too, who know, but it's most likely that he cuts his rists to get some attention. Erm, he hasn't shown anything towards anyone but Naruto. And that's more like a deep friendship. So, I would probably think he is more of an asexual. But it's your choice whatever to think.
