Why is Naruto so damn weak?!
Question: He can't fly or chanel his chakra so that he can fire energy blasts which are much more effective then throwing some stars and hoping to hit something, I mean seriously, get a damn gun.

This is typically the case in Shounen Manga/Anime.
What happens in most storylines like this is the main character starts off insanely or luckily powerful and proceeds to mash his/her way through enemies in which he/she would normally would lose against. Then they hit a certain wall where they cannot defeat a certain character in the storyline and thus must accept the defeat, go back and train, some miracle happens and then they go back to fight and win.
This is then repeated over and over again until the author runs out of Deus Ex Machina situations, but by that time it's already time to put on an ending to the story.
Naruto is not weak he's sure alot more powerful at this point then sasuke
hes not weak, he just cant control himself, and i think that is mainly because of the demon inside him and because he goofs off.
I never did like the anime Naruto.
Well, the problem for Naruto is that he just has SO MUCH chakra that it is difficult for him to have as much control as other characters. Eventually, however, he will master it all and then he'll send everyone running scared.

In comparing Naruto to DBZ, you're mixing universes. Some things are possible in the DBZ universe that are simply not possible in Naruto...and it's not really right to expect Naruto to be able to do things that are impossible in HIS universe. And, in Naruto's universe, the reality is that Naruto himself has too much chakra to be able to control it fully (at this particular point in time).

Naruto is very strong just that he is unable to control his Chakara and the nine tailed foxes chakara either. If he learnes to master both of the Chakara he will be very very powerful. There is always a posiblility that there will be some one stronger because Naruto has only the 1/2 of the nine tailed fox chakara. I forget if its the Ying or the Yang but Minato only seal one.
he isn't from an anime that would use guns, if you want energy blasts and flying you should seriously stick to dragonball z. Aparently you probably have not heard of the Nine Tailed Fox that gives him a huge load of energy, usually he loses his mind and beats the **** out of enemies because he's too fast and strong, besides, people in naruto have pretty high jumps. That can compensate for loss of flying.
XD, In the World Of Naruto, It is impossible to fly or shoot energy balls, Ur talking about Dragonball Z.
He Is not weak acttualy, he learned SurikResangan, and it only took his a couple of weeks, It would take some one 20 years to do what he did. He cut a Leaf in 1 day,and split a mountain in half in 2 days. For a normal Ninja, it would take 2 years!
He Knows Lots of Jutsu, Unlimated Chraka, Can Turn in too a beast, is at the level of Hokage Right now. The only reason he is not hokage, is because he left the village. If naruto was like Gaara, everyone will be dead, Beleive it!
