Death Note Questions?!
Question: 1) Why cannot Shinigami have sexual relations with humans/other shinigami? Why is it impossible and not permitted?
2) What is Ryuk's reaction to him killing Light? What do the other Shinigami do when Ryuk returns to his realm, if he does?
3) Are there any successors for Light? If not, is there an upcoming sequel manga on the way?
4) Does Ryuk like Rem?
I'm on volume six, if anybody wants to know. I just saw the movie, I'm obsessed with Ryuk. X3

1.) because shinigami has no physical body like the humans. just like Rem said, they dont need to eat to live, they even have to kill to extend their boring lives.
2.) Ryuk has no feeling regarding Light's death, Light just killed Ryuk's boredom, just like that, Ryuk killed Light not because he have to, but simply just he liked to and he felt like writing Light's name in his death note. What will the other shinigami do to Ryuk, uhmm.. nothing.. i guess.. they just dont mind and care each other.
3.)Successor.. that's up to the shinigamis if they feel like dropping their death note,then a successor might have.. about the sequel, that's for us to wait and find out.
4.) No. i dont think so. She died in the later episodes saving Misa, the second Kira.
1) Because the Death Note says so. Actually I have no idea, but really.. could you ever see that situation happening? :S
2) Ryuk doesn't care about Light's death. He merely saw humans as "interesting", and he told Light from the start that he was going to kill him eventually.
3) Doubtful, unless Near decides to start killing people off. And hopefully there's no sequel; they're never as good as the original.
4) Does Ryuk like anyone?
