Saiyuki--especially the 2nd half of the 1st series where they go into the characters' past lives (as gods!) stories. It's got very entertaining (though sometimes repetitive) dialogue between the characters. It's based on the old Chinese Saiyuki story, but way, way better^^
The 4 main characters are:
Sanzo- a pretty-boy, bad-tempered, trigger-happy monk
Goku- a cute, always hungry kid who's also a sort of god
Gojyo- a half-demon, half-human, play-boy type guy
Hakkai- hm...in my opinion, Hakkai's kinda scary, but...he's polite, almost always smiling, kinda a "motherly" figure
There's also Saiyuki Reload, Saiyuki Reload Gunlock & Saiyuki Burial.
Bleach, Blood+, Death Note, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gakuen Alice (Alice Academy), Kiniro no Corda (La Corda d'Oro), Ouran High School Host Club, Pretear, and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle are my favorites.
The only two anime shows that take place in real life are Ouran High School Host Club and La Corda d'Oro. the others all have to do with magic and stuff. Bleach, Death Note, and Fullmetal Alchemist are the more mature anime, Blood+ and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle are in between, and the others are more girlish.
