First, we must remember that this is the story of Naruto, not anyone else. The Uchihas have a direct effect in Naruto's life, but we know that in the end, Naruto will have his dreams come true. :)
Sasuke is NOT stronger than Tobi. Yes, he managed to bring down Tobi in a swoop, but what happened? Tobi could still stand up. And in Deidara's explosion? While Sasuke had to summon Manda and teleport to other place and STILL got hit by the explosion, Tobi reached Akatsuki's Rain Base without a scratch.
Are Sasuke and Tobi stronger than the Nine-tailed Fox? I don't think so. First, when Sasuke suppressed Kyuubi's chakra, its original form was IN THE PRISON inside Naruto's belly. Second, Kyuubi was only IMPRESSED by Madara and Sasuke's power. Kyuubi is still stronger than the two, with practically unlimited chakra and perhaps, stamina. Remember, Kyuubi dislikes weak people, and it once regarded Naruto as weak.

The writers said their favorite character was Sasuke. If they had like a final battle where one would die, who do you think would win?? Naruto of course since he is the main character.
Have they ever said Madara was stronger than the Ninetail? He summoned him, and his chakra is "more evil", but that doesn't necessarily mean he's more powerful.
