Why don't they have good cartoons on Saturday mornings anymore?!

Question: All the Liberals and overly conservative/overprotective parents kept on complaining about violence and what not in cartoons, so the studios were pressured into conforming to what they wanted. Now they have to make these retarded Teletubbie-esque cartoons that are deemed educational even though they have been shown in studies to hinder mental development more than help it. Thank the butt wipes that can't let other people live their lives the way that they want to.

Well I can't tell you the reason why, but here is my personal suggestion to the creators of the show: Make new episodes specifically(sp) for Saturday Mornings...I mean I remember when I used to HAVE to see my favorite t.v. show c/ I knew if I missed it I would'nt be able to see it again....now they just show reruns.

Some stations still show cartoons on Saturday mornings....really crappy ones.

I would love to relive those happier times when I was growing up in the 70s...cartoons were on all Saturday morning. You'd wake up at 6am (you couldn't get out of bed for school all week...but you couldn't stay asleep on Saturday morning)....grab a bowl of heavily sugared cereal (for me it was either Fruity Pebbles, Qwisp or Frankenberry)....build a fort out of the couch cushions and a blanket...and zone out to whatever Hanna-Barbera, Sid & Marty Krofft or Filmation had to offer. Good times...good times...

because people can't come up with any good new ideas.

So they pretty much come up with crappy ones.

Nothing beats the classics from when teens now and adults were kids *sighs*
