Why do caracters in cartoons have only 4 fingers?!
Question: There is a very good reason why they only have 4 fingers. Animators quickly found that 4 fingers are much easier to animate than 5. Most feature length cartoons put in the extra time and animated all 5 didgets but typically 4 is enough and takes a lot less time.
