The two dont stay in one place for long. They usally travel aound looking for the people they need to kill.

Well akatsuki does have a hide out, but I think they only go there when they capture a jinchuriki...But yes the probably just go around hunting and searching..
The show never specifies where people sleep (for example where did Naruto live once his parents died??)

there live in the akatsuki hideout and other than that ya they sleep under the star when on a mission
No one really know where they lives. Only thing I know close to that is there part of a clan.

I am a huge fan of the series and I am sure that Itachi and Kisame do reside at the Akatsuki hide out. They can't just sleep anywhere it's to risky to get caught without having a place to stay.
