First of all, I must say that I am one of the people that dislike naruto. However, I don't think that it's "gay", because my definition of the word gay refers to homosexuality, which can't be used to describe an anime show. But let me give you some reasons as to why I dislike naruto.
First off, if any of you have seen the anime Hunter X Hunter, you might see a "slight" resemblance between the 2 shows. This really annoys me, because not only is Hunter X Hunter my favorite show, it is not as well-known as naruto is. The author of naruto explains these coincidences as a result of his appreciation for the author of Hunter X Hunter. Apparently, he is a fan of him, so he sees it as a right to include many of his original plots into his own anime. That reasoning makes no sense to me whatsoever.
However, that is not my only reason for disliking naruto. I must say, I really hate the main character, naruto. Sorry for people who like him, but to me, he's just a stupid, annoying kid. He goes through almost no development besides learning a few new skills(from what I've seen), and he always uses the same tactics. Character development is an important factor in my opinion, and naruto just doesn't cut it. I was also very annoyed with the 80+ episodes of filler that they decided to add into the original naruto show as well.
So there ends my rant for the day. Despite what I said, I don't completely hate the show. It has major flaws, but it can be a fun show to watch every now and then. People who are new to anime usually start out with this show, so it appeals to a large audience. For those of you that read this message, try other shows, such as Hunter X Hunter and Death Note, and you will see that there are lots of better anime around.
For naruto fans:
I respect all of you, and I hold nothing against you for watching the show. Please don't take this post in the wrong direction and assume that I think that naruto-watchers are stupid.
As a fellow Naruto fan, I don't mind if people dislike Naruto. I genuinely don't care. What DOES aggravate me is for them to make a question proclaiming how much they hate Naruto, or to go into Naruto-related questions and talk bad about it.
If you hate Naruto, fine, but keep it to yourself. There are many of us who enjoy it and we don't make fun of Yugioh or Zatch Bell or whatever crap you like.
its not "gay", i'm also a HUGE naruto fan and i don't see any reasons that this anime is a "gay" type..... actually there's more amazing moves and stunts there, so why they called it a "gay"? Just enjoy and have fun watching it! Plus, the characters are so "kawaii"!!!!!!! Also, try watching Naruto Shippuuden, where they all grown up and support anime shows.....

I LOVE Naruto . It is not gay. i have 2 friends that think it is. They are saying how dumb it is. However i think sasuke is gay ,but that doesnt mean that the show is gay. Kakashi and Neji rule.!!! ~_~ Naruto is totally awsome!!!
i don't hate naruto, but then again i dont obsess over and ruin it for others and cause them to hate it. if people that hate naruto should keep it to themselves and not post questions bashing it, then shouldnt people who like naruto not post questions saying how much they like it? idk, just saying my opinion, have a nice day.
oh, and saku-chan, don't say "kawaii", unless you're speaking japanese, don't use it. just say it's "cute", hm?

The show looks like it's about violence and junk and I'm not into that kind of stuff. I like romantic and sweet animes
I'm not one of those people who goes onto Naruto questions and says, "Naruto stinks" or whatever. I hate people like that!

well some people may not like it because of the action in it. or something they might have some issues about it. well i got caught on it really fast but i ended up losing interest on episode 196. oh well its up to the viewers if they like it or not.
I watched the first few episodes, they bored me to death. Also, I don't have time to catch up on 200+ episodes. You know, shows have to finish sometime, and I'm not a fan of shonen anime (taking out some...). But, it's not like I constantly say "I hate Naruto, it's so stupid." I'll respect their decisions (but I will ask them why.)

When one of my friends told me that Naruto was soooo Gay and it's so childish and stupid and so on.....after like 2 yrs or 3? We still didn't talk to each other...xD I'm also a VERY BIG FAN of HxH! I'm currently reading the mangas of the two anime....love it...
