Question on Naruto shippuden?!
Question: I know Naruto is the main character in shippuden, but Naruto doesn't seem to be involved in the whole story even though he is the man target for Akaktsuki. It's like everyone is ignoring Naruto. I mean Naruto doesn,t even fight that much in shippuden . The akaktsuki are falling one by one but Naruto hasn't even deafeted one yet. What do you think?

Well, Naruto does kill Kakuzu. He severed every single cell with Oodama Rasengan. He can't kill all of the Akatsuki members single-handedly, or that would be rushing the story. The Akatsuki members are supposed to be extremely strong, and if Naruto defeats all of them, without a hitch, and single-handedly, it's a major Plot No Jutsu.
Look at Jiraiya fighting Pein right now. He just lost his arm, and he is one of the Sannin. If Naruto popped in and defeated him, it would be sort of anticlimactic.

Kishimoto's hyping up the Akatsuki so when there is a final showdown, it will be more dramatic and suspenseful.
I know it may seem like Naruto's being ignored right now. But they have to address other plot lines that have been going on throughout the entire series, like Sasuke and Itachi. And [spoilers] Asuma's death was really important too, because that gave Shikamaru more character development. [/spoilers]
So basically other characters need character development too. Naruto's going to play a major role later, but the other characters need their own time right now too.
So far, you are right and i Completely understand what you are saying. Soon in the show, naruto is going to get a lot of screentime and It will be awesome because hes unleashing four tails, but after that its more like Its not about naruto anymore. I tihnk the reason they changed the name to shippuden instead of naruto is because he fades out of the picture a little and this show is more general. (Not really, it acually is because SHippuden mean "One with the Wind" or somthing, and naruto has Wind type chakara - or so he finds out - And he learns to make new justu and such useing that, so its still about him) but i see what your getting at
Well i think that the whole point about shippuden is the akatsuki. And Naruto did defeat one. Remember he used the wind release Raseshiriken. He used it on the kazuka guy.
So really naruto is not really the main character of shippuden.
I know what you mean by naruto being the main character. But don't worry naruto is going to fight more and more when he meets sasuke. and acourse he's going to train. Oh yeah naruto rage is going to be outrageous.
Yah I kinda agree with you...there was one time my friend and I were talking about Naruto...my friend said that the show should be named Sasuke hehehe
But Naruto defeated one Akatsuki...well he didn't kill him..kakashi kill the guy...the name is Kakuzu....anyway yeah I mean he has no goal what I mean like Sasuke...he's goal is to kill Itachi...
though yeah he has a goal..to get back Sasuke....but I think everyone's goal is the same as he is....
And maybe it's because Naruto has soooo many characters......
Well on Naruto not defeating any Akatsuki members...that isn't 'entirely' true. He did use his wind attack on Kakuzu (the guy with several hearts) and he was able to take out 2 of his remaining hearts completely and even pushed the last heart to failure. All Kakashi had to do was come in and finish him off at that point but Naruto hurt Kakuzu so badly that he couldn't even move to defend himself. Aside from that, I kind of like the fact that other characters are being explored and its not ALL about Naruto...he is being given pretty much the same amount of time as any other character and for now that is fine...I would hate to see a show where Naruto is there all the time...some people might not even like his character as much and this might make the show even worse for them.
As the other states that he will get more time but as the series goes on Naruto will have limited screen time and it will become the Sasuke/Jiyara series. I think in the earlier series it was the development of Naruto and nothing but Naruto. I think to have a good development of a story that the author has expanded the Naruto world. I do agree that there should be a better distribution of screen time. In the last several episodes of the Manga it has been nothing but Jiyara. I wish that they would entend the manga pages to put in more of the fight screens. I think the author is writing new storylines and that I think that the Jiyara/Pein fight will last for another month.
