What age do japanese people watch anime?!
Question: or more importantly what age does it seem they stop watching it?
I am not generalizing for a specific race but most originiates from there so was just wondering what age they watch it and what age doesnt?

The problem with this question is that anime in Japan is ALL the animation that is in Japan. Now most adults aren't watching Naruto over there, but think about it this way. How many 20+ year olds watch something like Family Guy of South Park in America? How many 30+ year olds watch disney movies or other animated movies like Shrek? Quite a few.
In Japan you have shows like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya that was the most popular show for the 18-30 year old age group when it aired. And then you have stuff like Detective Conan that has been going on for well over a decade and has 12 movies out- that get's a huge audience. And then movies like 5 Cetimeters Per Second (recent) or any Miyazaki movie attracts audiences all over the spectrum- including many adults.
So to answer your question, a lot of people in Japan watch anime well past their 20s or even 30s. But they aren't like Otaku's who are watching 15+ anime series that are currently airing at once. Instead, a lot of older people may watch 1 or 2 if they are watching anime.
Manga on the otherhand has a huge audience for older people. That's ridiculously popular for everyone over in Japan
8+, some people may like it until they die, it really depends on who your talking about, but for most people, id say 20ish+ stops watching, maybe even 15+
Most anime are for teens (shounen, shoujo) but there are those targeted at young adults (seinen, josei), so I'd probably say they watch until late twenties to early thirties.
Of course, people beyond such age can watch it as it is a personal choice :)
personally i dont think any age is right for animae because it is rather strange and you cant tell if they are a guy or girl. It is very uncool and i dont like it this is just my opinion.
