What is your all time favourite animated film and why?!

Question: Princess Mononoke. It's beautiful to look at, it's a mind-blowing introduction to Japanese history and Shinto mythology, and it makes you think: The "good guys" all have bad points, and the "bad guys" have good points.

I also love Disney's The Jungle Book because of the characterizations and the music.

And Bellville Rendezvouz really does contains the most realistic dog character in animation history.

Belleville Rendezvous

It is beautifully constructed and the characterisation of the dog alone beats all those computer derived Disney concoctions.

I like Toy Story et al...but this film is sheer class.

Chicken Run because it still makes me laugh after seeing it many times - every time they pull those Toblerone boxes away from the 'plane wheels and yell 'Chocs Away' I just crease up.

Watership down. It's very emotive but also has some funny bits... oh, and I love rabbits!

if it counts, ``who framed roger rabbit`` coz of Jessics Rabbit.
failing that, id choose Watership Down.

well, Shrek definitely. i think its the most imaginative and creative piece of film so far. i love the funny characters. the movie is so well arranged that it really is a success. the story line is great. different fairy tale characters intertwine and this highlights its ultamate significance compared to other animated films. Monster's Inc. is my second choice :) love Boo and Sulley

lion king it's funny and has bit drama in it

'The Man Called Flintstone' (1966)

Why? Because I love The Flintstones.

the best anime i have watched is MULAN part 1
that is good action comedy drama.

anime movies such as howl's moving castle, spirited away, naruto and bleach and other anime movies, all disney animation movies, especially treasure planet ...

Grave of the Fireflies, which is set in Japan immediately after the Second World War. It's grim but it brings home the human cost of war, especially for children.

It has got to be Toy Story! It's so cool and proper amazing! Also the it contains the best line, Woody: "Buzz you're flying." Buzz Lightyear: " No, I'm falling with style!" Hamm rules, and Buzz, and Rex, and Slinky. Lol.
