Need help with plot. Please?!

Question: I'm trying to see which plot would make more drama. My mage, Mizuki, is ruled by a evil cruel lord known as Masato. Because of Masato, Mizuki is no longer a virgin and was tortured badly.

Mizuki was able to get away from Masato, and was able to be with his true love, Samaru, who he hasn't seen in two years. Masato rules with a iron fist, and has many powerful minions to use.

I'm trying to choose if:

A. Mizuki stays with Samaru, and they defeat Masato together.

B. Mizuki is brought back to Masato, and killed in the every end of it all. However, everyone that died is brought back to life when Masato is defeated.

I think answer A would bring your characters closer together, and that could end up to be a great adventure/romance

And option B will bring you to love your characters more and in the end when he dies its a real tragedy. But if you bring him back to life then that would also make it great.

They're both good. Maybe if you kinda combine them. Like have them work together and fall more in love, and then at the end somehow they get split up while fighting Masato and then Mizuki is killed, but then later brought back to life when Samaru defeats her.

If the villain is killed the story would have no impact because all stories end that way...but if you kill the hero/heroine and let the villain live then your story will have the most unexpected ending in the history of drama.

I personally think that there would be more drama if Samaru was captured and Mizuki willingly returned to Masato to save Samaru, but he eventually found out that Samaru was killed. What happens after that is up to you, but I think that plot line would cause a lot of drama and angst.

what if mizuki left samaru in order to protect his love and defeted masato by himself in order to live a peacful life
(edit) so he could retun to samaru

you should have mizuki and masato fighting each other like seriously hardcore then they both die at the same time and samaru stares in disbelief and horror. just as tears begin to well in her eyes, she sees what she thinks is mizuki, a flush of hope spreads across her face until she realizes it's masato. he starts going toward her to kill her but right before he's able to reach her he falls back down and dies, because he was too weak to regain enough strength to continue living. once he's dead, mizuki is brought back to life. hopefully you understood what i meant by that, if that makes sense yay.
