I love Shonen anime! My favorite ones are One Piece, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin (manga too), and the one that made me interested in Shonen animes: Dragonballz. Koku and Vegeeta fights were classic! ^_^
Well I am a boy but go on youtube and you will find TONS of female shonen fan's that's for sure and No it;s not unfair the have boy's and girl's entertainment on anime/manga it is a way to make it easier for shojo fans to find their manga or anime!
I watch a whole lot of Shonen anime because its sooo much better than shojo. Its also cleaner and more realistic. I mean, come on!! All shojo is based on is sex, becoming famous , revenge, and guys. Get real!
well personally i like shonen better than shojo cuz well i like action better then mushy-gushy romance-y type stuff
so yea i guess it would be normal if more than 1 gurl felt that way.
yeah, i do => i believe jap. r a bit sexist , and no not at all, shonen is my favorite genre because it's exciting and i luv the action, which better than a romance any day :p
yeah i love shonen i think it is better than shojo i love action instead of all the lovey dovey stuff but hey there is alittle romance in shonen too!

I like shonen anime better. I dont like shojo at all its just boring. I dont watch any shojo. I don't like romance anime

i like the action in shonen better. i love action anime, and animes that make my heart really race with excitement.
honestly, i dont watch much shoujo anime because i tend to get annoyed at the main females easily (they cry way too much) but not all. like momo from peach girl is really amazing!!
but then i really dont like mitsuki from full moon too much.
plus, most of them (not all) are typical "girl falls for boy and all that drama" (and vice versa).
so yea... i prefer gore and blood and action than sappy romance.
but, that doesnt mean i dont like it. w/o any romance i would be a little bored too... (in some shows.)
inuyasha is a good example. theres romance and action (though, the romance sometimes got annoying....)

It's just a kind of stereotype that boys always love action, violence etc and that girls love romance blah, but both genders are free to like both, shounen and shoujo are just names to narrow down the genres of anime.
It's not strange for a girl to like shounen anime more, I bet a huge majority do, I watch mostly shounen anime =)
