I need a new anime show?!
Question: I have watched and enjoyed Cowboy Bebop, Hellsing Anime/OVA, Eureka 7, Burst Angel, Full Metal Panic + FMP: Fummofu, Trigun, Ghost in the shell: SAC, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Samurai 7, and Love hina.
It's a fairly varied lot, but I enjoy shows with something to laugh at and there has to be a lot of drama or action.

You should try watching BlOOD+! it's really cool I like the graphics and the shadowing too!!

i seriously suggest DEAT NOTE and ELFEN LIED (i finished wathching all the episodes today at one sitting, its really good....13 episodes i believe)
Zombie Loan is good if u like funny with a little serious. Otogi Zoushi is more serious. Then there is Samurai Deeper Kyo, funny serious, historical and every episode comes with at least a tiny fight scene. Witch Hunter Robin is more for those into the occult and supernatural.
I highly recommend Death Note, the whole idea is somewhat unrealistic but it stays interesting and has a lot of drama.
Next to that if it's action, I say my favorite, Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny.
I loved Escaflowne... It's action and a little romance with a little funny...
I suggest InuYasha, Naruto, FullMetal Alchemist, Death Note, Blood+, Bleach, and some others I can't think of right now. haha These are really good animes that I LOVE because they are interesting. Hope this helps. ^_^

Right now Deathnote is my favorite, but try Gantz and the classic Akira. I noticed you didn't mention it and it is a movie that all Anime fans have to see.

It's soooooooo good! It's not really a good one to laugh at, it's a bit more serious, ok, a LOT more serious, but it's amazing!!!
