Does anybody remember a cartoon made in the late 30's or early 40's abou!

Question: I'm not sure if it's Warner's, but it was made around the late 30's or early 40's, I believe, and featured cartoon characters of the popular movie stars of that era. It's really funny as the stars are caricatures of themselves.

There were quite a few like that...the most popular were:
"Hollywood Steps Out" (Warner Brothers)
"Hollywood Capers" (Warner Brothers)
"The CooCoo Nut Grove" (Warner Brothers)
"Mother Goose Goes Hollywood" (Walt Disney)

These cartoons featured caricatures by (I'm not making this up) cartoonist T. Hee.

"Hollywood Steps Out" and "Mother Goose Goes Hollywood" are the best of these cartoons.

O_O about i only remember Tom and Jerry it was made in that pariod i think but dunno about movie stars in cartoon.

I think I seen a Bugs Bunny episode like that once. It was a old looney toons episode and Bugs was dress in drag I think. He somehow got into a party with allot of hollywoods stars. I remember animated version of Clark Gable and maybe CW Fields. There were many other old hollywoods stars in it. Also I think there were a few segments like that with other loony toon characters like Miss Va Va Vavoom who was a lounge singer and Wolfie, who chases after her.
