Question: why do the US volumes of manga of one piece take so freaking long to come out i m reading deathnote and it has like 15 volumes and one piece has 16 and it has been out way longer

One Piece is still being published in Japan, so if they translated and released um too fast they'd catch up to where the Japanese are, and then you'd have to wait even longer. When they translated Death Note, the manga had already been completed, so they didn't have to worry about that kind of thing.
death note is a short story that was already plained out before hand and one piece is most likely still been writen on a monthly bases or something like that or at lease that's what i think

it takes longer cuz its get published in shonen jump (at about 3 chapters a month) before they come out in volumes
