Ghost Hunt - horror/action/drama; This is the anime version of " The X-Files" , filled with mystery, scary scenes and the supernatural. Its worth a look! Don't watch this series at night.......
Darker than BLACK - action/drama/suspense ; a very good series that's similar to TOKKO and D.Gray-man; Synopsis: survivors from Hell 's Gate fight to protect the world from Contractors (superhumans).
TOKKO - action/drama/comedy; similar to D. Gray-man and Darker than Black. Synopsis: survivors of the Machida massacre fight to save the human race from demons and symbiotes....
Wolf's Rain - action/drama/horror -
Synopsis: a pack of wolves masquerating as humans are searching for "Paradise." Check it out!
Witch Hunter Robin - action/horror/drama; similar to Darker than BLACK; Synopsis: professional witch hunters hire a new associate.
Devil May Cry - action/horror/drama - based off the game, Devil May Cry (DMC), this series follows Dante and his devil-hunting business, Devil May Cry, as he struggles with constant financial debt. Similar to Cowboy Bebop.
Basilisk - action/drama/gore/ecchi; Synopsis: 2 clans, Kouga and Iga, battle to the death in this series; the animation and fight scenes are excellent. Check it out!
Jyu Oh Sei (Planet of the Beast King) - action/adventure/drama; excellent anime series. Synopsis: " Survival of the fittest "; a boy fights to live in a bizarre world filled with man-eating plants and criminals to become the Beast King. Check it out !
Seirei no Moribito (Guardian of the Sacred Spirit) - action/adventure/drama; Synopsis: Balsa is a wandering warrior, who takes on the task of saving lives in atonement for past sins. On her journey, she happens to save a prince and is assigned as his guardian. Check it out!
Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto -
action/adventure/drama; Akidzuki Yōjirō, a skilled swordsman, is on a quest to destroy an object called the " Head of the Conquerer. " While on his mission he encounters some interesting kabuki members.
Tenjho Tenge - drama/action/romance/ecchi; Synopsis: Two teens enroll in a school where beating up your classmates is part of the curriculum. In my opinion, this anime has some of best fight scenes of all that I've seen so far; the graphics are cool; If you love martial arts fighting and suspenseful plot developments this is the anime for you.
D. Gray-man - action/comedy/drama/horror; Synopsis: Allen Walker is a member of the Black Order, a group of Exorcists connected with the Vatican. Their mission is to stop The Millennium Earl, an evil being planning to cleanse the world by destroying all the humans in the manner of Noah's great flood. This is a great series, check it out! Similar to Trinity Blood.
Utawarerumono - action/drama/romance/ecchi etc. This is an awesome anime series. Combines many elements that define a great anime. Synopsis: a strange man suffering from anmesia becomes emperor and constantly battles to maintain peace between his people and himself. Check it out, you'll love it!
Cowboy Bebop - action/drama/comedy; The plot revolves around the lives of 3 debt-stricken bounty hunters as each of their pasts are revealed and brought together as the series progresses. Check it out!
Outlaw Star - action/drama/comedy; This series is like Cowboy Bebop, but with a few differences. Plot involves the adventures of outlaw Gene Starwind and his young, but smart business associate, Jim Hawking as they encounter new people and new dangers.

action/drama/comedy - placed in sequential order, these are more guy-oriented (seinen) type anime. Synopsis: 4 reluctant guys travel together on a quest to Sangri-La while constantly battling demons. Contains smoking, swearing and lots of fighting, overall a great series. Similar to Cowboy Bebop and Devil May Cry.
Elfen Lied - action/drama/horror/gore: this a very deep, psychological anime. More like a dark romance drama. This show contains lots of blood and some ecchi. In my opinion, its a very good, but twisted anime.
Trinity Blood - action/drama/horror/angst; another interesting series about vampires and vampire hunters. Synopsis: Special human beings of the Vatican ( Crusniks) fight to protect earth from vampiric Methuselahs, who wage war upon humankind. Similar to D.Gray-man.
The Twelve Kingdoms (Junni Kokki) - action/adventure/drama/angst; this cool anime has excellent animation and character development...this is a must see series, plot involves central heroine's psychological trials and triumphs as she grows from a "wishy-washy" highschool girl to the bold queen of Kei.

Horror/drama/action/mystery; Synopsis: girl activates a website where if you submit the name of one you hate, the Jigoku Shōjo (Hell Girl) will offer you a black straw doll with a red string wound about its neck. If the string is pulled, she will ferry the recipient of the revenge straightaway to Hell, but on the condition that those who request her intervention fall into Hell as well at the end of their natural lives. Don't watch at night.
Death Note - horror/action/drama
Synopsis: Light Yagami finds a mysterious notebook titled "Death Note." The Death Note's instructions claim that if a person's name is written within it, that person shall die. Light then takes it upon himself to ' pass judgement ' on these " evil " humans. Similar to Jigoku Shojo.
Kyou Kara Maou! - action/comedy/fantasy/drama; some might be put off because of the slight touch of yaoi in this series, otherwise an excellent series. Synopsis: Highschool boy gets sucked into a toilet to a world where he is the new maou ( demon king). Check it out!
Tactics - comedy/action/drama/shounen-ai ; this series is really good. Synopsis: a Teenage extorcist befriends an oni-eating tengu.
Shounen Onmyouji - fantasy/action/shounen-ai/drama;
Synopsis: A young onmyouji (similar to an exorcist) goes around defeating and purfiying demons/spirits etc. with help from the 12 shikigamis. Similar to Tactics.
Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness) - drama/horror/shounen-ai/comedy; Synopsis: Two shinigamis, Tsuzuki and Hisoka, are spiritual detectives who montior the souls of the "dearly departed" and make sure they arrive at their proper destinations.
Golden Boy - comedy/ecchi/drama/seinen - this anime is ridiculously funny! Sypnosis: A guy goes around the country documenting women and his experiences with them. Check it out!
Green Green - harem/comedy/ecchi/seinen; this anime contains extreme ecchi (borderline hentai). Synopsis: Some students from an all-girl highschool get to experience "co-ed " life with the opposite sex. Note: the OVA version is hentai.

Naruto - Only Japanese version, and Shippuuden.
Cowboy Bebop - EPIC AS HELL. Watch watch watch.
Deathnote - Just came out in english-ish.
FLCL - Confusing, don't watch if your mind isn't expanded.
My two favorite animes are This ugly yet beautiful world and Angel Sanctuary.
Now This ugly yet beautiful world is kinda romance, but not really, and Angel Sanctuary is the same way *kinda romance* but it's a fucked up romance lol. Trust me these shows are awesome! (be warned though Angel Sanctuary is extremly fucked up even though it is awesome got some bro/sis love in it HAHA. ^-^
