Is it weird to be obsessed?!
Question: Sounds like a stupid question, but I love this cartoon loads - even though I'm fifteen!
I hate merchandise, I mean, toys are for kids, aren't they? That'd be weird 0_o
So, I like the show, but the actual programme just bugs me now - it seems so kiddish. However I love the story and plot, it stuck with me through fanfiction instead, which I prefer because the show looks so crap nowadays.
But I'm worried because I think I'm too old to like a cartoon so much. I don't know why I like it still, I just do...
Am I a freak?

I am like Kira. I LOVE cartoons and anime also. I also collect certain stuff on my favorites too. I collect them because of mainly sentimental reasons. I am a grown adult and have no problem displaying my collection. That's just me. You have your reasons for not liking the merchandise side of cartoons. I can understand that and that is YOU.
You are NOT a freak and you are NEVER EVER too old to be a fan of cartoons! There is no age limit. Enjoy whatever makes you happy. Remember, you only live once in this world. Make sure you take every advantage to make yourself happy because you deserve it!

i luv cartoons my parents tell me that i am too old to watch cartoons tho. but none the less i never give up i luv anime and manga!!!!

Trust me you are not strange, there are 40+ people collecting things like Charlie Brown figures and nobody thinks that weird, it is just a hobby. :]

NO way are you a freak! trust me, i'm a lot more obsessed with this one show than you are. Also, you can never be too old to like cartoons! Well, except if you're like 50 years old. Then it's a little freaky. But 15, that's not too old at all! And who doesn't like toys! They're fun!
Look, I'm 14 and I'm obsessed with Naruto. I'm like the same age as you and I'm completely obsessed. I draw pics of it, i have manga volumes of it, and I have the boxset. I write and read fanfics, etc.
There is no problem with it. I mean, is a kid at heart. don't worry about it.
