To those who understand the plot of AIR anime?!

Question: Ok. Let's get straight-to-the-point. I don't get it. I don't understand the anime at all. Call me dumb or whatever, I watched all 13 ep but I still don't get it.

First of all, what kind of person is Yukito? Is he an angel, a ghost, or what? He suddenly disappeared and turns into a crow named Sora!

2nd, why didn't Mizuki go to Hiriga's clinic. Perhaps she would have been treated from her disease, illness, whatever.

3rd, what is with the time skips from medieval Japan? And what's the relation between Kanna and Mizuki? Or in broader perspective, what is the relation of the events in medieval Japan to the events that happened w/ Mizuki and Yukito?

4th, it was weird when Mizuki said what hurts in her was her WINGS!! First off, she never had any wings to begin with. Secondly, how did she get the "crybaby" syndrome?

The anime is too metaphoric and blunt. Someone please clear things up for me. Thanks!

Honestly, it's not only you who don't get the anime. Me, neither. Many people say it's touching and worth watching. i admit that I did cry when Misuzu hurt, but in overal, I don't think the anime is good and clear enough. It's so confusing.
Why did Yukito turn into a crow ? What was that for ? Was there any meaning to it ? He could just stay human and care for her. Does that mean he's cursed or something?
I think they just want to make the story somehow beautiful, touching. But they should know there is the need for something called clear beginning and a proper ending.
I think they mean the past was the beginning, and the current is the continuing.
It seems like Misuzu is the reincarnation of Kanna. I think Misuzu's wings are Kanna's . Because of some event happened. Kanna has been wandering somewhere on the sky (not sure), and Misuzu is the other self of Kanna. So Misuzu feels the pain of Kanna. But I don't understand why Kanna's soul can still be reincarnated. Kanna is neither dead nor alive. She's just somehow like the lost spirit. SO CONFUSING.
When someone is sick, the sensible thing to do is going to a clinic. Yet, Misuzu did not. Even her mother agreed with her too. How can that be possible ? Normal people wouldn't beleive such a thing and then just wait at home for the death.
Obviously, they want to make a sad and uncertain ending. This kind of ending in anime is kind of popular. But I personally think it's a very weird ending.
The one I really hate about this anime is the story of the past. It seems like Kanna and Ryuya were in love with each other. After Kanna's disappearance, Ryuya married Uraha and have a child with the intention of having their child to keep searching for Kanna. But I don't think such thing is approriate. I know he agreed with Uraha because he did not have enough time left. But it makes me sick to watch this happen. And it seems like he's quite happy with his last moment of his life with Uraha. It makes me feel like he completely forgot about the presence of Kanna and her feeling to him in his heart. I feel sorry for Kanna.

And there is a big time distance between the past story and the present story, I wonder if uraha and Ryuya's child is Yukito. How can he still be so young ? And what'll happen after Misuzu's death ? Is Yukito going to search for Kanna in the form of a crow ? Why can't he turn back human ?
There are so many questions about this anime.
