Geneon as in the one that used to be known as Pioneer? I don't think Geneon sponsors anime. If you're talking about Geneon [not the U.S. one] when "[odd looking G] Geneon" appears the 'these companies sponsor this program' page after the op to some anime I think it's because is involved in the distributing or producing. Like for ef - a tale of memories, after the op Geneon appears,but Geneon's the distributor for ef so I think that's the reason it's there. Geneon won't be distributing DVDs in the U.S. anymore.

I've never heard of Eclipse. There's Eclipse Productions as in the fansub group though, is that what you're talking about?

Eclipse is a fansubbing team, they don't sponser any anime nor do they profit from the sales of DvD's and merchandise like Geneon does. Simply go and visit the Eclipse productions page and scroll through their archive for the shows they have fansubbed. A quick google search will result in a similar archive list for Geneon
