There is a lot of swearing on the show. They edit it out for the TV releases, but if you buy the DVDs many of the censors are removed. It doesn't surprise me at all that Stewie would swear, particularly with Brian.

this surprises you? i have a friend who knows a guy who works for fox. this guy sent my friend a couple of episodes of family guy that hadnt gone to the FCC yet. they still needed to be aproved by the FCC....there is SOOOOOOOOO much stuff that gets cut out by the FCC, stewie swears so much, and there is so much more random weird disgusting crap we never get to see. stewie mouthing F U should be the least of your worries. i saw the episodes, my friend let me watch them. stewie mouthing FU isnt bad compared to what they originaly want to put in some episodes
