The first couple of seasons of Animaniacs were good ... then there was the dispute between Fox and WB Network, and all the good writers left. The quality of the shows suffered after that.
Old Tom & Jerry were good ... also any old cartoons directed by Tex Avery (one of my favorites was where Droopy was a Canadian Mountie chasing an escaped convict). Also any of the Looney Tunes that featured classical music. You can watch "The Rabbit of Seville" on YouTube if you like ... that is a classic!

I love Tom and Jerry, too. They were so good. My mind got screwed up though. When my kids were 3 and 2, they were watching Tom and Jerry. It went something like, the dog hit the cat with a frying pan, and the cat hit the mouse, and what did my kids do......... they came running over to me to hit me with toys.
My kids are into Yu Gi Oh now. Pretty amazing graphics but not for me. They are 13 and 12 now.
I really miss Woody Woodpecker, and the little penguin.
Anamaniacs, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, and most of all Batman: the Animated Adventures :)
Captain Planet and the planetairs. It's from the 90's. I loved it as a kid and I still do.
Animaniacs is great but my favourite is The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy...
it has so many adult moments as well that its amazing they can get away with it...
