Who is the BEST superhero of all time (Marvel, DC)?!
Question: I'd have to day Superman. I'm not saying he is the strongest or the smartest or the fastest or whatever superlative you can think of, but he is the best example of a superhero there is. In the DC universe he is considered to be the greatest hero. In the Marvel universe, there is no one who is claimed to be of equal in terms of moral integrity and self-sacrifice.
In fact, superman is the progenitor of the modern superhero genre. The term "Superhero" itself was coined in reference to him, hence the best superhero is superman.

He was the first super-hero to have real life problems. You could definately relate to him (except for the super-villians, of course)

Most believable: Batman, DC Comics. A real human character with real human flaws.
Most powerful: Solar, Man of the Atom, Valiant Comics. After all, he destroyed and recreated the whole universe.
Most entertaining: Spiderman, Marvel Comics. He is the best at paragraph after paragraph of witty reparte while dueling with the villians.

Superman has been around a lot longer that Spidey. Spidey never had a radio or live action television show's. Spiderman gained his popularity with the movie success in recent years. Superman has done it all. If you had your choice between Supe's or Spidey to save the planet who would you choose?.
most of my life spiderman was my favorite until i learned more about the x men (the deepest thing i ever came across) how can a group of mutants fighting for the lives of the very same people who wants them dead not be the best superheroes.
DEFINATELY batman. Who else drives around in a crazy supped up car that has all kinds of guns and stuff? who else is so cool that he doesnt need to fly or use some sort of mutation to get around (spidey)? who else has a butler with a wicked cool name? NOBODY comes close to batman and nobody comes close to Robin as a sidekick.
P.S. - Batman killed Arnold S. - beat that
Here's a little clue... Marvel Comics WISHES that they had a character that made as much money for them as Superman makes for DC...!
