Question: Superman returns we all know is supposed to be picking up right were superman 2 left off but now I have to pose a question. In superman 2 he erases louis' memory of the time they spent together in the fortress of solitude and that she found out his alter ego. So in superman returns how the hell would she be able to know that Jason was superman's son? Wouldnt she just think it was some weird emaculate conception or just be confused all together? Or am i just over anyalyzing and is this just one of those flukes that films get that can't really be explained because they couldnt?

You are correct. That is just one of the many many many flaws in that movie.
Personally I liked the Richard Donner cut of Superman II better where at the end he doesn't give Lois some strange amnesia kiss, he goes back in time again and undoes all the damage Zod and crew did.
I could go on for several pages about things that bugged me in that movie but here is a few.
Wouldn't someone notice a giant spaceship hurtling to Earth or at the very least notice the seismic data the impact it would have made would generate?
What year is it? There were flat panel TVs and cell phones yet people dressed like they were from the 50's and drove classic cars.
Why is that the "greatest criminal mind" on the planet passes up the total knowledge of the known universe the try and pull some ridiculous scheme to grow a new continent?
Why did Superman leave in the first place? His father who was the most brilliant scientist on a planet thousands of years more advanced than ours told him Krypton was destroyed not to mention the fact that the entire movie shat all over the point of the second movie.
The moral of the second movie was that Superman wasn't here to be one of us. He had the responsibility to protect and guide us and that in denying that responsibility he almost lost everything he cared about. He must put his responsibility above his own desire. He even told the president "Sorry I have been gone so long. IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN." yet less than 3 months later he flies off into space for 5 years.
And don't even get me started on how they totally ruined the character of Superman and how Lois and Jimmy looked like they just got out of high school.
