The second season was planned, and there's plenty of material in the novels, but financing fell through. It's *possible* that financing might come back together - with DVD sales, it doesn't matter that much if a series goes off for a while (look at Family Guy).
But for now, no.
i was wanting to ask this question as well, since i'm a big fan for ghost hunt~~!!!
anyway, i think there is going to have season 2, but no idea when that would really come out. you know, it usually takes forever. but i think it should be continuing, cuz their official website says (i think) that the novel stopped, but anime is continuing.
