It seems like Uchiha Madara is Tobi, but it hasn't been confirmed yet and however he has the sharingan.
Maybe he might be the third possessor of sharingan because in the first serie itachi said that if sasuke would master the Mangekyou Sharingan the persons who can use it would be 3...not confirmed.
Others think that tobi is obito, the same guy who was in the team with kakashi when they were young and died in battle.
uchiha madara is actually tobi. he has sharingan but not confirm if he has magekyou sharingan...he is not de same guy in kakkaishi's team when dey were young as obito died. anyway, madara uchiha is said to be one of de first uchiha. and de kyuubi in naruto states that he is extremely powerful.
The real Madara Uchiha is the one who created the Uchiha clan.Rumors say that he is Toby but that's not true because Toby is Obito actually.He just called hisself Madara Uchiha because of the powers he has.
