Dante sounds cool, but I've never seen Devil May Cry. I might say Spike and even Faye from Cowboy Bebop ROCK, and that's just an awesome series in general. ;)

everyone on this list is a beast on the battle field..all except L..who is a beast on his own ^-^
I love Dante he is a beast, but he isn't 'Anime', thats considered a movie, or series of movies. For Anime :
1. Vegeta (Its impossible to stay so pissed off so long and be #2 always, that alone drives him crazy.
2. Broly He would be #1 but he didn't have enough appearances.
3. Dark God (YuGiOh final monster, destroyed Egyptian Gods... several times, a true beast)
4. Armegeddon (Whooped Superman's u know wha.. gotta get a new Supermansuit.)
ashido from bleach! although he's only a filler character, he did managed to amaze me that he could kill tons of gillians is just one second. plus he has been fighting in the forest of menos for 100 years! even if the adjuchas keeps attacking him, no one can't seem to defeat him.

my favourite is mizuki from the prince of tennis , the captain of the saint rudolph tennins club , cuz during a match he fights his opponent without mercy even if they're hurt badly during the match (try watching the kanto tournament).
next is kurosaki ichigo , especially when he is in the hallow mode ^u^
light from death note and kenpatchi from bleach. even though ichigo beat him that 1 time.....kenpatchi has that badass attitude

i'm so sorry i dont really know what anime is but just a little comment, i really prefer if people don't swear. Nothing against you, it's just not a good habit. Sorry for pestering you, but it's just one of my pet peeves
