DBZ was better action wise and story wise, but as for the ending, I have to go with the GT. DBZ had Goku just leave his family just to train Oob.
But yeah, I think GT sucked because it hardly had Akira Toriyama involved in it. All the fights were long and boring with the only action being the exchange of ki blasts. That's like having Spider-Man with out Stan Lee.

DRAGONBALL GT WAS A WAIST OF TIME. AS FAR AS IT GOES FOR ME GT NEVER EXISTED. GT WAS CREATED TO JUST MAKE MORE MONEY.
i think it could've been better if it stayed as violent as the original and if Evil Majin Buu came back. Frieza and Cell did. and if they had made Goku a man again it wouldve been good, but they had to keep him a kid throughout the whole series which made it suck.
i think dbz will go down as one of the best animes of all time. they did mess up with gt but as destroying the whole legacy no in dbz there was the garlic jr. saga which sucked but it was a filler i think that dbz is great and that dbgt is just a phase to bad it ended with it.
