Question: MY(SPOILER FILLED) OPINIONS
i have been hearing rumors and i think this is whats going to happen on naruto----itachi is not the bad guy in the situation. it seems he does not want to fight sasuke, he stalls. maybeeee............ he used his sharingan to make it look like he killed their parents to make sasuke stronger and stronger then he will reveal he did not do it.someone allot stronger did.
he possibly joined akatsuki to
1- convince sasuke more that he did it
2-convince tobi(obito/ madar UCHIHA)to help with something since he is another uchiha
Why would he only want to talk woth naruto, not take him? he could very easily...i think he is trying to recruit these three to take down someone much stronger????maybe pein??or someone else???

also the person who killed the uchiha clan is none other than yondaime [yes he IS alive]
he is also the REAL leader os akatsuki
pein or watever [i dont read the manga thats just wat i heard ppl say was the name of the akatsuki leader] is just his puppet so he can keep his identity secret
pein is actually in a spell cast by yondaime right now.
&& the reason itachi joined akatsuki is cuz minato is the only person he has left [except for sasuke but he doesnt realy count seeing as he wuz like 7 at the time & couldnt realy do anything for itachi]
&& the story with tobi is simple
he's a mental freak that developed the sharingan && thinks he's madara
also, he is a good boy

we can conclude that itachi has a bigger plan what if he feels responsible because with his father dead (by someone else hands) he would then be the head of his clan and then would seek to make sasuke stronger than himself to have an alli to help take him down
your right, men. the one who killed the uchiha clan is tobi(obito) he had only one sharingan because when they have a mission and he was near to death. kin transfered the other eye of obito to his teammate kakashi.(when they are genin)... tobi is madara..... he has a great connection in the nine-tail fox.

it wont be possible for him to use genjitsu to all the poeple on the leaf to make them believe that he killed his clan!

Actually I find this theory plausible. :D
Although I have no idea who caused the Uchiha massacre, but I know that there are 3 possibilities:
1. Itachi was the one doing it; or
2. Someone else slaughtered the clan (if not Tobi, who else? Other Akatsuki members?), and Itachi merely killed his parents; or
3. Itachi was innocent! He didn't do it at all! <= this however, I have to put aside 8D
To ghelo: The massacre happened AT NIGHT. Do you think somebody in Konoha actually WITNESS the tragedy? He might get himself killed then, duh. People assumed Itachi was the murderer since he was the only one missing after the incident. Everybody else were killed, only Sasuke was alive. Madara and Obito died long before the massacre, and Shisui was killed the day (or several days) before the massacre.
Shisui? I just can't help but to think that Shisui actually is Tobi - still alive but had to hide his identity - the same goes with Obito. 8D Madara? Let's just think that he can transfer his soul into another Uchiha body. 8D
I'm not going to talk what Tobi is up to; but from a recent interview with Kishimoto, he hinted that something big will happen to Kakashi. D: Is it related to Tobi, or is it related to someone else?
His "talk" with Naruto also made me wonder if he actually has another reason. Like he was forced to (but lol what, Itachi being forced?), or he wanted to say something about Kyuubi, or other things that might be related to Naruto.... (his parents? 8D). There are just too many possibilities about what he wanted to talk about.
