"Shaman King" Manga and Anime?!

Question: Does the manga end where the anime ends? If not, then can anyone give me the chapter where the manga picks up from the ending of the anime?

There are a lot of differences between the manga and anime plot so they have very different endings. And the anime deviated from the manga plot so I guess reading the entire manga will be like reading a different take on the Shaman King anime. Also, there has been an announcement that Shaman King manga will continue on March 2008 because the manga that was concluded last 2006 was too open-ended.

and I've been thinking on watching it again but reading the manga sounds good too.....
