Rukia's return to the Living World in chapter 195 'Death & Strawberry(Reprise)'. She makes her grand appearance through Ichigo's classroom window towards the end of the chapter. This is partway through the Arrancar Arc, which starts at chapter 179 'Confession in the Twilight'.
The Bount Arc, while filler, is bearable and introduces some characters and situations that are used in the canon arcs that follow so it is advisable to watch it as well.
