Full Moon wo Sagashite, Ouran High School Host Club, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, and Tokyo Mew Mew are REALLY good animes/mangas! They are my all time favorite animes/mangas!
Here are descriptions of them!
Full Moon wo Sagashite: Romance/Drama
A twelve year old girl named Mitsuki dreams of becoming a famous singer but she has throat cancer which makes that dream impossible. But when two death spirits named Takuto & Meroko come and tell her she has one year to live she asks Takuto to do something for her. To turn her into a sixteen year old so she can pursue her dream. In her sixteen year old body Mitsuki is healthy and she becomes the famous singer Full Moon. She hopes that by singing she can reach Eichi, the boy she loves who left for America 2 years ago.
Ouran High School Host Club: Romance/Comedy/A very little bit of yaoi between the twins (But it's only pretend)
A girl named Haruhi gets a scholorship to the prestigious Ouran private High School. Since she is a commaner she cannot afford the school uniform and resorts to wearing slacks & polo shorts. Combined with the fact that she has short tousled hair and large glasses she is mistaken for a boy. Looking for a quiet place to study Haruhi walks into the Third Music Room only to find the Ouran Host Club. While in the room Haruhi accidentaly knocks over a vase worth $80,000 so the Host Club (Thinking she is a boy) make her a host to pay off her debt. Haruhi's real gender is revealed to all the members of the Host Club but she is allowed to continue charading as a boy to be a host as long as she dosn't reveal it to the customers.
Mermaid Melody: Romance/Comedy/Drama
The Pink Pearl Mermaid Princess Luchia must go to the human world to find her sacred pearl she gave to a boy she met 7 years ago. After getting her pearl back Luchia joins forces with 2 other Mermaid Princesses Hanon & Lina. Hanon, Lina, and Luchia must use their sacred pearls to transform into idols and sing their songs to destroy the evil Gaito & the Dark Lovers.
Tokyo Mew Mew: Romance
5 ordinary girls get infused with the DNA of 5 endangered animals. They must use their new powers to defend the Earth from the aliens that are trying to take Earth as their own.

I highly suggest watching Naruto. Naruto in my opinion is one of the best anime/manga ever so far. I defiantly think is has lived up to the hype about it. The show has a interesting plot with very good art and charter drawing. The show includes action/comedy/romance and drama Here what the show is about. It is about a boy named Naruto who is an orphan and has a demon spirt fox in him that was put there when he was born. Later on Naruto finds friends that like him of who he is. He has made a decision be become the greatest ninja in his village (the village hidden in the leaves), he wants to become hokage, but in order to do that he must train like he never has before as well has battle through missions and interesting foes with his friends and learning new moves/jutsu (speail fighting moves) and marial arts. In between all this there are relationships between charcaters. Naruto is defiantly a series/show/manga that defiantly worth getting into and is one good epic story.

Twelve years before the events at the focus of the series, the nine-tailed demon fox attacked Konohagakure. It was a powerful demon indeed; a single swing of one of its nine tails would raise tsunamis and flatten mountains. It raised chaos and slaughtered many people, until the leader of the Leaf Village – the Fourth Hokage – defeated it by sacrificing his own life to seal the demon inside a newly-born child, whose origins are as yet unknown. That child's name was Naruto Uzumaki. The Fourth Hokage was celebrated as a hero for sealing the demon fox away. He wanted Naruto to be respected in a similar light by being the containment vessel for the demon fox. The village he grew up in, however, mostly shunned Naruto; they regarded him as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood. A decree made by the Third Hokage made it so that the other villagers were forbidden to mention the event to anyone, even to their own children. However, this did not stop them from treating Naruto like an outcast. Although their children did not specifically know why their parents treated Naruto the way they did, they learned through example to despise the boy. As a result, Naruto grew up as an orphan in a lonesome atmosphere without friends, family, or acknowledgment.
All in all it has everything you could want out of anime/manga including action/romance/drama/and comdy.

Yeah, Death Note is pretty sick, but Light's a freaking psycho, lol. I personally think the manga was a little boring, though and that there was too much talking and dialogue.
You should read more into Bleach. I didn't really like it at first either, but once I got to around volume 8, I really started to get into it. The only reason I read it was because I thought Ichigo looked kinda cute, but now I'm a total Ishida-addict and on the latest chapter out in Japan.
Dude, Samurai 7 owns majorly. That's how I got "otaku_samurai". The storyline is great, and the drama and action and romance will lead you to screaming at your TV/Computer. Well, it led me to yelling to Katsu for being such a moron. The love triangles will kill you if you're a hopeless romantic like myself. A great anime, and I can't help but wonder why not a lot of people know about it T^T
Maison Ikkoku is a great romance manga, plus the anime. It's an older series (by Rumiko Takahashi) but it's really good. Don't get mad at me, but Inuyasha is good too, and so is Ranma 1/2. Beware though, all of Takahashi's stuff shows the upper half of a woman's body. But you read yaoi, so...XD
DramaCon is great. There's only 3 volumes but it's worth it. The creator is from Russia, and has a funny writing style.
Wild Ones is a new manga. Shojo stuff. Yakuza. Y'know. But it's funny.
Naruto. Yeah yeah. I'm not that into Naruto, (I'm more of a Bleach person, sorry guys) but it's okay.
Runouni Kenshin owns if you like samurai and action. Trigun is cool too. (Action wasn't in your selected genres but it's still awesome)
Ooh, Vampire Knight is totally cool. Pretty vampire men and tortured romances between them and humans. Yay for shojo! ^^ You'd probably love that one.
Hare+Guu is possibly one of the greatest animes out there. It's random, funny as hell, and hella random. Same with Papuwa.

i think that you should try Death Note! <33. i didnt read the manga, i watched the anime but im sure its still very awesome!!! Death Note has some comedy and romance i guess.. [ not rly a lot though ] but it still is a very good manga/anime!! I really recommend it!! =DDD
umm.. my favourite anime is definetly NARUTO!! it is kinda action-ish but theres a bit of comedy every now and then xDD
i read Absolute Boyfriend and it was pretty good =] my friend recommended it so i tried it.. and there is quite a lot of romance in it! <33. theres a lot of yaoi in it though.. so im not too sure xD
hmm.. im not sure if ur into fantasy but maybe you could try Vampire Knight? its pretty good and some of my friends love it!! =]
I also read 'Fall in Love Like a Comic' which is a rly short manga.. but i rly enjoyed it.. =DD

Blood+ is pretty good. i havent finished this one yet, but its really good so far. its about vampires and stuff.
I like Sailor Moon,Inyuasha,and School Rumble. Tokyo Mew Mew and Naruto are also ok. And there is one called Absolute boyfriend that sounds pretty good,although I haven't read it yet.

I don't really watch any yaoi... but I've heard Gakuen Heaven and Gravitation are good yaoi's. ^^; (I really prefer yuri... like Strawberry Panic.)

However, Tsukasa has befriended Ryuji, due to a large debt. as time goes on, Tsukasa's opinion of Ryuji changes. During her time with Ryuji she begins to uncover many things about her, and her family.

- a 12-year-old girl named Mitsuki Kouyama. Mitsuki is a talented singer who dreams of becoming a pop idol, but she is afflicted by throat cancer, which is curable only through a surgery that has the possible cost of her vocal cords and never being able to sing again. At the beginning of the series, she is visited by two shinigami whom only she can see, Takuto and Meroko, who go by the team name "Negi Ramen" or "Spring Onion Noodles" ("Green Onion Ramen" in the English dub). These shinigami accidentally tell her she has but one year left to live. Mitsuki realizes she cannot wait any longer and attempts to achieve her dream of becoming a singer. However, she does not look old enough to be a singer, so she makes a deal with one of the shinigami, Takuto, to transform her into a 16-year-old. In her 16-year-old form, her throat is healthy, and she is able to sing without any difficulty. She uses the stage name "Full Moon" to hide her identity from the public. To start a career as a singer, 16-year-old Mitsuki auditions in a singing contest. Though there is much competition, she is able to win over the judges with her enthusiasm for singing and her excellent voice. The reason for wanting to become a singer boy that she fell in love with at an orphanage, Eichi, they made a promise that Mitsuki would become a singer and Eichi an astronomer.

-Alice has always been shadowed by her older sister, Mayura. one day alice saves a bunny from getting run over by a car, not realizing the fact that she could get run over to, Kyo, the boy Alice has a crush on, saves her. later, she discovers that the bunny isn't an ordinary bunny, her name is Nyozeka (looks like part bunny part young girl). Nyozeka informs Alice that she is destined to become a Lotis Master. Alice's sister Mayura disappears after Alice tells her that she wished she would disappear. in order to save her sister, who has become dark, she must master the Lotis Words but she's not alone, Kyo is also a lotis master, they are joined by 4 other Lotis Masters. (oh and Mayura is kinda crazy, possessive, and reeeeeaaaaallllly jealous that Alice is spending so much time with kyo during her absence)
-Ceres the Celetial Legend(Ayashi no Ceres)
- Aya and Aki are twins. on their 16th birthday, they go to their grandfather's home in order to take part in a ceremony (although they are unaware of the ceremony, they think that it is a birthday party) which the family has held for many generations. they receive a box, inside their is a mummified hand. upon looking at the hand, Aya awakens the celestial maiden Ceres, although she doesn't come out fully, Aki recieves many cuts all over his body. Due to the fact Aya is reincarnated from the celestial maiden, her family tries to kill her, however her powers lash out and she disappears. she awakens in a large tree on her family's estate, there she is saved again by Toya, and she later meets Yuhi and Suzumi who save her and allow her to stay with them. Aya meets many other celestial maidens during her journey to find the hagoromo(celestial robes) for Ceres so she will stop killing her family. it doesn't help that her cousin Kagami is obsessed with the celestial maiden.
Gentlemen's Alliance Cross (Shinshi Doumei Cross)
- Haine Otomiya, a 15-year-old high school girl student at the elite private Imperial Academy. Apparently sold to foster parents for fifty million yen, and a one-time gang member, Haine reformed when she met Shizumasa Tōgū, who told her to live life how she wanted to. She fell in love with Shizumasa and entered the Imperial Academy to try and win his love.Now, Shizumasa is the Koutei ( emperor) of the school. Being the president of the student council and the only member of the gold class, he is the one who everyone looks up to. Through various circumstances Haine is tricked by Maora, a student council members, into becoming his bodyguard and joining the student council. However, Shizumasa claims not to know her and is unexpectedly cold towards her.
-The Wallflower (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge)
-Sunako Nakahara, a girl who was called ugly by a boy, the first and only person to whom she confessed her love. This incident sparks a life change, and as a result Sunako shuns all forms of beauty, both in herself as well as in life. Concerned by her change for the worst, Sunako's aunt, the owner of a beautiful mansion where four very handsome students live, offers the guys free rent in her mansion if they can turn Sunako into a perfect lady. While the four of them manage to make Sunako physically beautiful enough to become a lady, the problem lies with her attitude and interests (which Sunako has no intention of changing). Up until the most recent release in the story, they've managed to convince Sunako's aunt that her niece is indeed a lady befitting the mansion in which they live (and prevent the rent from skyrocketing to triple the required amount). However, in reality, Sunako has not changed considerably.

- Mikan Sakura, is devastated when her best friend, Hotaru Imai, transfers to a special school for "genius" kids in Tokyo. After hearing horrible rumors of what happens in the Academy, Mikan runs away from home to seek out her dear friend, and finds that the school Hotaru transferred to, Alice Academy, is specifically for children who each have a special power called an "Alice". To Mikan's surprise, a teacher at Alice Academy, Narumi, discovers that she too has a unique Alice, leading to her admission into the school.The story is primarily focused on Mikan and her experiences at the Academy, from the everyday bore of classes and exams, to the unexpected clashes with the Anti-Alice Organization Despite her initial view of the so-called greatness of the school, Mikan slowly finds out that beneath the grand facade of the Academy lies a never ending stream of lies and deception.Also, Mikan meets a boy named Natsume, whom she initially hates from the very start of the story, but would eventually start to like. And in turn he begins to form an interest in her. Along with the many friends she comes to make, including Natsume's best friend, Ruka Nogi, and the class representative, Yū Tobita a.k.a. Iinchō, Mikan comes to love the Academy and its teachers despite the truth that is built upon half-truths and lies. The story is primarily showing how if you believe in something it will happen and in the case of Mikan she changes the harsh world of the Academy for the better.
