Question: I seriously need some1 to talk to! The last episode just drove me crazy! I've been crying most of today and the series is starting to turn me emo (which I am not!)!!!!!!!!!!! Why, oh why can't there be ahaapy ending with Light, Misa, and L?!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I see Light running and crying and reminiscing about his life before he found the death note, I always tear up. I wish Ryuk didn't kill Light. Even though Light was bad, he should've won if it wasn't for that Mikami dude.
I'm still recovering to. Try watching a happier anime like Ouran High School Host Club or something.

I think a happy ending would been ridiculously disappointing. The series tries to take place in a realistic world, aside from the Death Note itself.

no happy ending for them but still another character will take charge of another death note.
o yea after i saw that i had a stomach ache for the day. no happy endings for serial killers. and the small white kid does not compare to L at all i would like to find that L was actually still alive or something like that.
Because even though Light was evil he was the main char and its always sad when a main char dies or you know that there will never be any more eps in that world.
Really? You thought the ending was that bad? I don't know, but I thought the ending was a little predictible. I mean, they forshadowed it throughout the series. Kira was going to end unhappily.
L's death was a shocker. I thought he would win, but not after dying.
And Misa, maybe I don't remember that well, but wasn't her ending happy? Or atleast close to it....Yeah, her memory was erased so yeah, for the most part she was happy. Ignorance is bliss.
The saddest ending I've ever seen was Wolf's Rain. My eyes still water when I think about it, and I saw the ending to it years ago. Well, anyway, hope you feel better about it.
.....because there were never a happy start. or in any part of the story. everything is about killing and deaths, and those were never fun or happy rather.
