I don't know, I don't get how people get into that either .
The only advice I could give you is to try to take his interest away from it and on to you will role play.
This sort of stuff can obviously become an addiction for some people in which case he will need to seek help, but it does not necessarily mean that he is a sexual deviant.
If he is looking at it as only a cartoon then there maybe no harm in it.
But on the negative side there could be some suppressed desires which he is able to let out in a safe form through this.
This is something you will need to keep an eye on and decide for yourself whether or not you need a counselor.

I'm not a doctor of any kind this is just a thought.

Why not find yourself a real man, then?

hahahaha
yea i know really
men are perverted
but a lot of my guy friends are perverted too
i guess u just got to live with it
its the way of the men
like..
no duh they like yuri
cuz yea
uhmm
they r just messed up thats all

Well, I'm a girl and I get turned on by it, too. I'm not sure why.. I guess weird things turn me on.

I am told that males/men are visually stimulated creatures.

They like images.

Animes are pretty, and Hentai appeal to both, the pretty and the racy imagery.

You can say that Hentai is another example of ART reflecting REAL LIFE.

I am not at all surprise to see Playboy and Hustler endorsing some of the ANIME18 DVDs.

Video games are getting into the act too. A good example is Dead or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball.

There is nothing wrong with admiring art or naked depiction in art so long as it is for it's artistic value (such as Michelangelo’s David)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelangel...
or Venus by Sandro Botticelli
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Birth_o...

But to look at naked depiction in art for it's pornographic value is wrong and should not be the hobby of a married man.

Hentai are EYE CANDIES, and so long as he doesn't lose sight of what is real, legal (some of the naked young girls depicted borders on pedophilia) and his responsibilities in reality, and he keeps it where it belongs --- in the realm of his fantasy -- there should not be a problem.

Ask your husband what it is that makes him intrigued by those drawings?

Does he like the way the girls are drawn or the sexual positions they are placed in?

Are their young ages a factor?

Ask him if the pictures were to become real, and he was there, would he participate? (this last question will let you know if he has a cheating mind)

Lastly, let him know that these images WILL NOT cook him dinner, hug him when he comes homes, nor will they worry for him when he has problems with work or keep him warm on cold nights --- that is reality, and no pretty pictures or photos are ever going to replace that.

you can't make such a generalization, I'm a guy and I don't get aroused by that, but for most guys i think it's the heavy breathing of the female characters that turns them on and the dirty talking. That probably does most of the work in arousing rather than the image. I'm straight btw.

Goodness! It's just a stupid little hobby! I have a friend all into that stuff. I make fun of her for it. Then, she gets upset and I feel bad. Face it, different people have different tastes! If you can't look past your husband's hobby and see the person you love and married, then the problem isn't with HIM.

Sad truth: men are easily distracted and easily aroused.
