Ya I didn't think he was,people just say that because the really don't the anime and listen to what people say. People who say that he is just believe everything the hear. Okay Naruto and Sasuke are friends that doesn't make him or anybody else gay. The reason for the lipstick and long nails just means that you are part of the Akatsuki.

Masashi Kishimoto didn't announce Sasuke is gay, but he didn't announce he's straight either... I don't think he's ever had Sasuke show interest in anyone, male or female, that way. He just doesn't care about it... So it's more likely he's completely a-sexual or he put it aside until after Itachi. So if you don't think people who make fanart with him gay are fans, then people who put him in a straight couple aren't either. There is no evidence for him being either way so both are possible.
I think when ppl call him "gay", they are using the word in the sense that he sucks. Thats all.
