Question: I have just finished the deathnote 2-hour special, it was cool but where's Mello? They only showed the first half. The question is, should i now watch the live-action movies or are they not worth it? Do they follow the manga?

Watch them! If you watch the two, you can watch the spin-off coming in February. In a way, the ending of the second movie was really good but really sad at the same time. It has a different ending than the manga and anime so that's why it would be worth watching.

Yes they do and i dont reccomend u watch the live movies. ryuuk looks so fuked up.
Yeah! It's good, it has a really funny animated Ryuk in it. The ending is different too =)
Mellow comes into the series later. Death note does follow the manga. The live action movies arn't anything speical. They don't really have a lot to do with the series.
yah. i have also seen the live-action movies before and it's good. but i hate Light in that one
