at the last episode Light dies!!!!!!!! he was taking his last breaths lying on the stairs *sniff* so just before he closes his eyes the only thing that appeared in front of him was: L!!!!!!!!! I guess Light was remembering him so he appeared standing in front of the dying Light......

    He does pictures of him when Light talks about him or compares him to N and at the end of the anime you get to see L when...
