Mermaid Melody (formula gets old extremely quickly, and the seiyuu work was lousy)
Midori Days (cute but forgettable)
Please Teacher (Just plain stupid)
Ginban Kaleidoscope (cute but forgettable)
I haven't seen the rest, although none of what you listed really matches the tone or humor style of School Rumble. The closest would probably be Ouran, Azumanga, or even Lovely Complex, but again, none are actually that similar to School Rumble.
I think Ouran High School Host club is the top must-see of that list.
Followed by Victorian Romace Emma and maybe Gundam Seed.
I've watched Mermaid Melody & Ouran High School Host Club and I must say that they are must watch animes!
They are awesome!
Ouran High School Host Club is the most entertaining anime I have ever watched.
Lucky Star comes in at a close second though. Only because of the crack and Konata. xDD

Must watch: Lovely Complex -- hands down the best romantic anime that has come out in a while. Honorable mention to Victorian Romance Emma, though I preferred the first part to the Second Act.
Must avoid: Midori Days (Midori no Hibi) -- it had SOOOOO much potential to, and came up short.
