One of my favorites. Has to be one of the funniest i have ever seen. A kid is drowning, saved by a mermaid, but then forced to marry the mermaid girl. Better than it sounds.

Also very funny. Kind of sad and dramatic near the end, but as a whole its pretty light and funny. A kid who fails college entrance exams goes to live at his aunts inn, but it turns out she made it into a girls dorm, and he is going to be the manager.

Very episodic, meaning that stopping at ep 16 isnt bad since there is no real overall plot. Pretty light and funny. As a little kid a boy wishes for a little sister. Many years later, in college, Santa (a woman on a flying motorcycle) brings him his new little sister (a ten year old girl who knows nothing about the world).

Very light and happy throughout the 59 subbed episodes. A girl goes to live with her parents old friend and his son because her parents went to NASA. It turns out her dad's friend is leaving for india. Then a flying saucer crashes in the backyard with an alien baby and a talking cat. (They both look normal, but the baby has psychic powers and the cat can transform). Now the girl, her dad's friend's son, and the talking cat live together taking care of the baby.

A kid who wants to be a picture book writer moves into an apartment building when he goes to college. He immediately falls in love with the manager, who is a girl two years younger than him. The only problem is that when she is suprised she switches to one of her five alternate personalities. Very funny, and even with some drama near the end, it stays pretty light and happy throughout.

Keita is from a family that works with inukami (based on inugami - dog gods) to fight evil. These dogs have superpowers, and can transform into dogs, but they usually look just like humans, usually female, but they have a tail. Keita makes a contract with the inukami youko, who is considered the most powerful inukami, who has the strength of 10 inukami(some interesting 1 on 10 fights). Very funny and not that much action. It is at its core a very good romantic comedy.
