Drawing anime and cartoons?wut do u think?!
Question: ok so this anime art class opened up in my school and i joined,
my anime is like a cross between
inuyasha and marvel comics
does that make sense?
it looks cool but,well its not anime and its not comic cartoons
is it ok to do that, to create my own style or to just stick to the basics and the rules ?

Wow! I am super excited to see this question. I love when people explore different fields of art. I happen to be into anime and marvel comics. And I have done exactly what you've done. I am telling you do exactly that. You need to try everything you can think of to perfect your style. But most of all just keep on drawing. I wish you the best of luck!!

Defintely your own style... not even anime cartoons look the same because everyone has the own way of drawing.
i think its cool when someone can make their own style. then its not like o who did that? its O thats what (idk ur name) did! you get it? and it also looks better, if ur good, becuase its new.
If you can create something that's your own, that's wonderful. But if necessary (job-wise), there's no reason you can't do both your own thing and do the basics.

it sounds like you are on a pretty good course, keep doing what you are doing, if this is your passion keep following it.
those that are different excel, dont let people get to you but be open to constructive criticism, learn the basics and the rules but keep up the creativity!

please don't stick only on the rules that's lame,, its cool to create a new type or cartoons,,I know what u feels because I'm taking art class too and I'm not shy too show what I can bring.

is the picture of your avatar your drawing? it doesnt matter if you dont stick to a "style" or not.if you like,people like it,its cool,its is awesome,what does that have to do about if its right?i am a cartoonist and drawer,natural at it,take classes too.do what expresses you,somebody made up anime and cartoon drawings,maybe its up to the new generation to invent something new.there are no rules in drawing,cave men had no rules,i think that applies to us too. your cool for being you,of all things,you should be rebelling,not fallowing.be a leader.peace,later.
You can learn your own style, but learn basic art too.
Don't stick to the petty, stylized rules. To me drawing manga(anime) and any form of art is about expressing yourself in your own way. So yeah its great that you've developed your own style of drawing. Now, you should continue to practice and get even better at what you are good at. Keep up the good work.
